Goomeo, the French leader in mobile applications and digital services for events management, chooses London and Montreal as the locations for their first international representative offices.
These new representative offices will allow the French startup to accelerate international development, make the United Kingdom a priority market for the export of its solution and convert Canada into a launching point for the North American market.
Paris, France, Thursday 21 January 2016 – Goomeo today announces the opening of its London and Montreal representative offices. After a prosperous 2015, which saw the company’s turnover exceed one million euros and be ranked at no. 18 in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 rankings for the fastest-growing French technology companies, the French startup is now accelerating its international development.
Goomeo CEO Franck Auzanneau confirms the company’s ambitions beyond French borders: ‘Goomeo already achieves 20% of its turnover internationally and provides applications for events taking place in around twenty different countries. If we’re to move up a gear, we need a physical presence. This is why we’ve opened our first two international representative offices.’
London and Montreal were chosen for the potential represented by the UK and North American events markets: ‘A lot of large trade-show and convention organisers operate there. Our offices will allow us to work more closely with them so as to better meet their requirements and offer greater support in their projects. They are competitive markets, but we’re ready for it, and we know the added value our solution can bring to their events and attendees, particularly in terms of establishing contact and forging relations.’
